Tried the cod fish with large chips from this shop. Both were great. The fish was huge and crispy and the large size chips is really large. Very friendly and polite staff. Simple and clean place. You do wait a bit to get your order but definitely worth waiting for. One of the best fish & ships in town! Keep it up👍🏼

Great service, we shared a large cod and chips, with flaky, tasty cod and there were more chips than we could eat! Both were fried to perfection, crisp and not too fatty which is a sign of good quality and really hot oil.

After trying the fish from here, my whole view changed. I was almost done with fish and chips because they're usually all greasy with soggy chips. But this spot? It's got the best Fish and Chips in Brighton and Hove! Clean oil, crispy goodness, and they don't skimp on portions. Totally recommend it – hands down the best in town!

I rarely have fish and chips because I usually find it disappointing and feel ill afterwards, but today tried this fish and chip shop at Patcham, and am loving it. Soggy chips are awful, but these chips are not greasy, and so crisp - more like a good pub chip, and the batter on teh cod is also crisp - not crunchy and thick, but thin and crispy, which is probably nicer. Also, not outrageous prices either. This is most definitely my new go-to FnC shop in Brighton. Really excellent
